Snowy Peaks Presents: So You Don't Fit the Mold

Snowy Peaks Presents: So You Don't Fit the Mold

Hey everybody!

Snowy Peaks Media is doing an event for women in August at the University of Utah Guest House and they've asked me to be one of the presenters. I am so excited about this event because I think it will stand out of the crowd of events for women in so many ways.

Worldly and cultural views can seem to shape an "ideal mold" women feel they must fit into; have the perfect body, be the perfect wife, parent, friend, Christian, the list goes on and on. But the truth is that no such mold exists and its time we stop beating ourselves up for not fitting into something that DOES NOT EXIST

The six women presenting have faced anxiety and depression, dealt with the repercussions of attempted suicide, a near-fatal brain tumor, rejection, humiliation--you name it--yet they've conquered, and continue to conquer, the darkness to live the beautiful successful life God intended.

We want to share our stories and strategies on how we've used the healing power of the Atonement to battle our insecurities and life challenges while offering practical tools to help other women recognize their worth and value for who THEY ARE so that they too can live the successful beautiful life God intended for them!

In addition to lovely warm fuzzies, participants will learn how to:

Recognize their "inner-hotness"
Improve their emotions to improve their health
Get organized for a more peaceful life
Find faith in their darkest trials
Aquire courage to follow their goals and dreams
To think outside the "mold"

Are you ready to stop trying to live a cookie-cutter approach in your journey and help others do the same?

Please help me to spread the word and get as many women to this event as we can. So many women are suffering and punishing themselves in silence. It's time to dispel the ugly lie of the mold and love the person God created.

It's not easy for me to share my personal struggles, but if not for my trials I wouldn't be appreciating my current blessings. Ezra Taft Benson former Secretary of Agriculture and President of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints said: "Christ changes men, and changed men change the world." Christ has changed me, continues to change me, and I know He can help you to discover who you are and

Together we can change the world!

Love,
K
